Sarang is an alternative crop movement initiative focused on improving the income of landless, small, and medium farmers by promoting high-value crops instead of traditional low-profit farming. The project supports cultivation and commercialization of crops like quinoa, stevia, and moringa, while also developing value-added herbal and organic food products. The initiative works to bridge the gap between farmers and markets by producing ready-to-use organic products such as herbal teas, cooking oils, traditional foods, and plant-based health products. It focuses on promoting organic farming practices, improving product quality, and creating sustainable market channels through online, retail, and health practitioner networks to ensure better income and reduced rural poverty.
